We are looking for Current M.S. / Ph.D student in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. The candidate is expected to help with clinical validation of clinical decision support systems, work with large clinical datasets to mine features for algorithm development, and become familiar with scientific literature related to the project. The candidate will demonstrate experience with: Physiological signal processing Programming experience in Matlab and C/C++ Human physiology Data mining Excellent oral and written communication skills Skills and experience in some of the following areas would be a plus: Design, development, implementation and validation of innovative clinical applications Clinical study design, data collection, and data analysis Multi-parameter algorithm development Machine learning Databases EMR and clinical workflow General knowledge of healthcare and healthcare informatics
