The Security Department at IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY, is seeking outstanding researchers in Security and Privacy to join us in tackling the new IBM Research's Security Research Agenda.
The mission of the Security Department is to conduct fundamental and applied research in Security, Privacy and Cryptography. We focus on building new and innovative security technologies in research areas such as AI and Cybersecurity, Machine Learning for Security (e.g. Deep Learning), Malware Analysis, Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Threat Intelligence, Graph Analytics for Security, Blockchain Security and Applications, Mobile and IoT Security, Information Security, Cloud Computing and Virtualization Security, SDN Security, Next Generation Security Architectures, Trusted Computing, Ethical Hacking, Privacy and Cryptography. We value research skills, innovation, strong systems intuition, systems building experience and a strong desire to implement one's own ideas.
Candidates are required to have a PhD Degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience with a record of innovation and impact, in one of the following areas.
Candidates should have effective communication skills in both technical and customer situations. Position will be in Yorktown Heights, NY. Will consider individuals requiring a visa.
