In Analog, people—not devices—are at the center of everything we do. Our tech moves beyond
screens and pixels, creating a new reality aimed at bringing us closer together—whether that’s
colleagues brainstorming around a giant digital whiteboard, scientists “meeting” on the surface of a
virtual Mars, or some yet undreamt-of possibility. To get there, we’re incorporating diverse
groundbreaking technologies, from the revolutionary Holographic Processing Unit to computer vision,
machine learning, human-computer interaction, and more. We’re a growing team of talented
engineers and artists putting technology on a human path across all Windows devices, including
Microsoft HoloLens, the Internet of Things, phones, tablets, desktops, Xbox, and Surface Hub. We
believe there has to be a better way. If you do too, we need you!

We’re looking for a scientist to join our research team. You’ll be part of a group that uses the latest
engineering practices, works on cutting-edge technologies, and faces complex problems that range
from client/server networking and audio/speech processing to computer vision and machine learning.

What you’ll need:
* The ability to address issues ranging from fundamental algorithm
development/implementation/optimization to delivering product outcomes.
* The ability to serve as a technical leader while making significant individual contributions. (No
managerial experience required)
* A degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Audio/Speech Processing, or related technical field. (PhD preferred)

Basic Qualification:
* 2+ years of research and development experience in computer vision and audio/speech
processing.

There are plenty of other skills that aren’t required, but you'll find useful in this role. Let us know if you
have industry experience, an academic and/or corporate research background, or experience with
embedded platforms.
