The Fixed Income Trading Liaison 1 is part of the Fixed Income trading floor of the Wells Fargo Advisors Home Office based in St. Louis. MO. This position offers the opportunity to interact with senior fixed income traders and financial advisors in addition to developing extensive product and market knowledge with access to state of the art trading platforms and research.

The Fixed Income Trading Liaison will:

•Provide support to the retail advisor group and fixed income trading group in order to facilitate the execution of fixed income trades.

•Provide guidance to the Financial Advisors as to currently available rates and structures and in selecting the most appropriate fixed income vehicle to meet their clients' investment needs.

•Provide the trading desk with the necessary support to present inventory and execution.

•Responsible for marketing, operations and phone support including bid/offer wanted, ladder/offering sheets and Bond Desk support.

The Fixed Income Trading Liaison position is located at Wells Fargo Advisor’s Headquarters in St. Louis, MO on the trading floor. Relocation assistance or remote work locations are not being considered for this role.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: investment, securities, or professional brokerage

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Fixed Income experience
  • FINRA registration including Series 52 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • FINRA registration including Series 7 and 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • Knowledge and understanding of bond math
  • Knowledge and understanding of fixed income investments

Job Expectations

  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 and 63 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
