POSITION SUMMARY:

 

As an RFP Writer you will have a direct impact on Covariance Capital Management’s acquisition of new clients. Your role will be responsible for writing RFPs under strict deadlines and creating additional documents such as RFIs and ad hoc sales documents. Working with senior managers at all levels of the firm and interacting with other subject matter experts you will update product information to customize proposals.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

  • Write, edit, organize, and package compelling and well-positioned responses to RFPs in compliance with client requirements
  • Manage RFP specific meetings with subject matter experts throughout the organization and ensure the firm’s sales positioning is concurrent with the sales strategy for each proposal
  • Proofread proposals for content, grammar, style and formatting
  • Monitor and implement quality control standards for content, grammar, style and formatting
  • Assist in the management and updating of database content with responses from recent proposals
  • Work with other departments and subject matter experts, ensure database responses meet strategic and stylistic standards in accordance with industry best practices and corporate guidelines
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with business development, investment and other subject matter experts throughout the organization
  • Contribute to improving, creating and distributing information on the proposal writing lifecycle
  • Assist in the creation of other sales and marketing materials as required


QUALIFICATIONS:


Required Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in English, journalism, communications, or business preferred
  • Three or more years of experience as an RFP professional, financial services experience preferred
 
Desired Experience
 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project and PowerPoint applications
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of investments
  • Proven project management experience and ability to maintain a tight production schedule
