Clinical Leadership Development Program for Registered Nurses – BAYADA Home Health Care

 

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, RN, for a full-time opportunity in our Clinical Leadership Development Program. As a part of this program, you will be on a fast track to leadership opportunities with BAYADA. You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

 

  • Learn the fundamentals of home health care administration and business operations from the CEO and Senior Leadership at BAYADA
  • Participate in personal and professional leadership training
  • Experience rotations in different offices to better understand how BAYADA operates
  • Meet our clients and hear their stories first-hand
  • Receive feedback, formally and informally, on a regular basis in an opportunity to enhance your learning and performance
  • Develop a network of relationships for on-going collaboration and support
  • Be assigned learning coaches and mentors that will teach you day to day operations of an office (including but not limited to systems, processes and policies related to client service management, marketing, financials, recruiting, and clinical care)
  • Do meaningful work with direct contact with our clients
Responsibilities:

The Clinical Leadership Development Program is designed to be a fast track program to develop future leaders for BAYADA.  Participants in the program will be provided training, mentoring, and growth opportunities not found anywhere else in the health care industry. We will prepare you for future leadership opportunities and promotion by exposing you to all aspects of BAYADA Home Health Care office operations, including coordinating services for our clients, recruiting additional clinical staff, and building relationships with referral sources in the community. 

 

The program consists of a 12-18 month intensive curriculum that begins with providing direct care to patients in their homes.  The candidate will complete rotations in several offices located in Vermont. After completing the hands-on rotations, the candidate will work in the office under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Director, gaining exposure to office operations.  Upon successful completion, graduates of the program will be placed as a Clinical Associate in our Burlington, Vermont office and will have the opportunity to be placed on a career path to become a future office Director.

Qualifications:
  • Current VT RN license
  • ADN degree required, BSN strongly preferred, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • 2-3 years recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience
  • 1 year of management (people, projects, or processes)
  • Home care experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills; prior experience with EMR software strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated record of leadership and goal achievement
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to 'think outside the box' with creative and resourceful problem solving
  • Willingness to travel to offices throughout Vermont for 12-18 months
  • Flexibility for final placement in Burlington, Vermont
