We have an excellent opportunity for a Health Care Professional to make a difference for our employees and affiliated staff whilst utilizing his/her clinical and management experience. This key role oversees the daily management of a site-specific Employee Health Department. This includes directing medical care for all workplace injuries/illnesses and coordinating pre-employment screening, annual immunization reviews, and medical surveillance for healthcare and non-healthcare workers.
In conjunction with the VP of Human Resources, develops employee health and wellness programs including but not limited to communication plans, training programs, vendor coordination, analytics, reporting and evaluation of outcomes. Identifies work related illness and injury trends and recommends preventative measures. Provides consultation to leaders regarding occupational health and safety (such as safe lift/ needle stick prevention, etc.) and reasonable accommodation. Participates on committees and performs clerical and nursing duties in support of Employee Health functions. Monitors financial performance variance against budget on a monthly basis and ensures accurate and timely record keeping. Manages employee productivity and competence, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
Minimum 2 years clinical management experience which includes overseeing clinical staff and/or employee/occupational health programs.
Prefer 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership role in nursing or prior experience in managing an employee health department or clinic.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
