Trident Health, a National HCA Healthcare network, is comprised of two acute care hospitals - Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center. These quality-focused entities work together to bring excellence in medical and wellness services to the residents of the Lowcountry. For the third straight year. The Joint Commission recently recognized Trident Health as one of the nation's top hospitals for quality and safety!
Currently, Summerville Medical Center has PRN night openings in their ICU!! This unit has 8 ICU beds, the Nurse patient ratio is typically 2:1, but can flex up at times to accommodate a full census. This Unit has excellent managerial direction and retention, is focused on team work, educating and mentoring their Nurses and has a community based support that will provide their Nurses with a family oriented work environment.
The ideal candidate for this position would be flexible for nights. The schedule can be flexible depending upon census and need. PRN candidates are required to work at least 24 hours in a 4 week month. However, more hours can be available depending upon census and shortages. This unit invests a great deal of time in orienting and grooming their Nurses, so dedication and a loyalty to the Unit and the team is a MUST!
