Our Cardiac Cath Lab is equipped with the latest medical technology and available around-the-clock to best meet our patient's needs. We are now able to conduct minimally invasive procedures on these systems to treat a wide range of clinical problems. These catheter based procedures may reduce the risks and recovery time found in traditional surgical approaches.
We are looking for a dedicated passionate RN to Manage our Cardiac Cath Lab, Specials and Interventional Radiology Services. The Clinical Manager of Cardiac Cath Lab / Specials and Interventional Radiology Services is responsible for oversight of the department to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24 hour basis. Responsible for meeting The Joint Commission and regulatory compliance standards complying with corporate policy and procedures. Responsible for managing supplies and equipment, responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and the healthcare team, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, assisting with volume growth and for appropriate resource management through the process of performance improvement. Assists in the overall day to day management of the Cath Lab/Specials to include: Performance management, policies and procedures, productivity, supplemental staffing, staff competency, physician relations, strategic planning, patient safety, business development, budget, resource management, program development and specific projects for adult age acute care patient population. Demonstrates independent judgment and critical thinking skills in overseeing the delivery of patient care. Possesses the ability to act decisively under general administrative supervision. - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- MSN preferred.
- 5 years Cath Lab / Specials / Specials / Special clinical experience
- 2 years charge and/or management experience
- Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- PCI Certified preferred
- 4. IABP Course or IABP experience preferred
