*1. Completes hospital and department-specific education and competency requirements
*2. Participates in the patient assessment function to determine the type of care required to meet the patients' initial and changing needs.
*3. Provides patient care in accordance with established and approved standards of care.
*4. As determined by own professional skills, competence and credentials, provides individualized care in response to specific patient need including needs related to age, growth and development.
5. Evaluates clinical outcomes and modifies approach or recommends modifications in approaches to treatment in order to improve outcomes.
*6. Obtains, manages and uses information to improve outcomes and individual and hospital performance in patient care and support processes.
*7. Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize all aspects of OH patient care; utilizes effective decision making skills.
8. Seeks out educational experiences to enhance/obtains necessary continuing education for OH
*9. Assist in other projects as assigned by the Director.
*10. Built rapport with physicians, office contacts and client companies.
*11. Performs all diagnostic studies, as required.
*12. Obtains additional skills, as needed, for patient care.
*13. Functions appropriately in emergency situations.
*14. Documents according to OH standards.
*15. Administers medication according to policy.
*16. Provides education to employees, patients and their employers.
17. Assists with orientation of new employees.
*18. Shows innovation in clinical ideas for organization of delivery of care.
Required - Registered Nursing experience in the field of occupational health or acute care.
Preferred - Experience or Training in BAT, audiometry, vision screening and spirometry.
Required - Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
