RN - Registered Nurse - Supervisor - Telemetry - Tele

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, provides front line leadership and decision-making for departmental staff, ensuring the quality and integrity of care delivered. The RN Tele Supervisor develops plan for care that is based upon patient census, needs and acuity and is responsible for fiscal and human resource allocation based upon guidelines. They provide performance coaching scheduling and supervision of employees, assists with payroll function. Also, performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the cardiovascular service line. Maintains a safe and therapeutic Telemetry/Progressive Care environment and participates in cardiovascular department specific initiatives and process Improvement.

  • Current RN license in the State of Texas
  • BSN, strongly preferred
  • National Certification preferred
  • Charge or supervisor experience, strongly preferred
  • Recent acute care experience required
  • Experience with cardiovascular/telemetry patients, required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider
  • ACLS required, issued by American Heart Association
