Registered Respiratory Therapist
Nights 6:30 pm to 7:00 am
Performs respiratory care procedures in the acute and critical care areas of the facility. Also responsible for P.O.C. Testing, arterial punctures, blood gas analysis, and QC on the blood gas equipment.
Licensure/certification/registration: Registered Respiratory Therapist with current Texas RCP LICENSE. Current BLS upon hire. ACLS, PALS, & NRP required within 180 days of hire.
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.

Potential Contact With Blood, Body Fluids or Tissues:
High risk: Job or activity can reasonably anticipate that regular contact with blood, body fluids or tissues is likely.
Inside - Spends approximately 75% or more of time inside. Inside work has good ventilation, comfortable temperature
LIGHT WORK: Lifting 20-lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
OTHER: Ability to lift, push and pull with assistance (mechanical or co-worker), the weight of the average patient specific to the department
