JOB SUMMARY
Implement safety and compliance programs to promote the maintenance of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment by performing the following responsibilities personally or through department supervisors.
Prepare and submit Driver qualification files to DOT Department.
DOT files as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Prepare and submit OSHA 300 Logs annually.
Renew and obtain permits and licenses where required, i.e. Device Gases, Scales.
New hire safety orientation for incoming associates informing them of safety policies and procedures.
Review customer contacts and insurance coverage's requests and consult with Legal as necessary.
Submit requests for insurance certificates for customer and vendors.
File and record monthly safety reports: Safety Contacts, Safety Meetings and Facility Inspections.
Data collection and entry and maintenance of the Warner Fleet Services Driver Document Management Program and Prevention Maintenance systems and Intelex.
eFile training records, safety documents and compliance records.
Attend training and seminars as required.
Assist managers with scheduling Driver Mentor Training.
Respond to vendor, customer, and government agency requests for insurance certificates to document Airgas insurance levels as they relate to various customer requirements.
Compiles all training documentation and ensures that it is electronically filed after the training has been completed.
Maintain the regional Safety SharePoint Website and ensures the information is accurate and easily accessible.
Coordinates the annual review of the DOT Motor Vehicle Records for processional and non-professional drivers.
General filing associated with the on-going maintenance of regional safety and compliance records.
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Able to work with little direct supervision/direction.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
High degree of proficiency in time management and organization skills.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
An Associate's degree or some college education is desired but not required.
