Assist in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Participate in site safety committees including establishing agendas, directing the meetings, issuing minutes, etc.
Develops, implements and maintains employee training programs for topics related to health, safety and the environment.
Assist in performing health, safety, and environmental audits, informal facility walk-through's, and associated follow-up activities.
Performs accident management activities, including injury management, investigations and associated recordkeeping. Identifies, implements and tracks corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintains injury records in accordance with government regulations and corporate practices.
Assist in performing assessments of employee exposures to physical and chemical agents in the workplace.
Responsible for developing appropriate emergency plans and response capabilities
Assist with regulatory compliance at national, regional, and local level. Assist with conformance to company requirements.
Bachelors degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, Engineering
Specialist II-3-5 years' experience
Specialist III-5-7 years' experience
