Monsanto has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Analyst to join the North America Commercial Team within the Vegetable Organization. This role is responsible for validating and providing accurate and reliable sales forecast reports and detecting new opportunities for sales.  The Sales Analyst is accountable for developing standardized and custom reports to support the NAM sales team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide analytical support to commercial teams and leadership
  • Partner with IT to create and implement tools to simplify and improve commercial effectiveness and results
  • Develop predictive models and forecast future opportunities and risks
  • Provide inputs to Finance to support the financial forecast
  • Identify potential sales up/downsides and create action plans to address
  • Provide analytics and reporting for booking compliance and accuracy
  • Ensure territory sales forecast accuracy and reporting

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in business administration, finance or equivalent, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of business or financial analyst experience
  • Modeling skills and capacity to create reports and analytical models to predict outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excel, SAP skills and Business Objects
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • Communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate collaboration
  • 20% travel within region
