Sales Analyst, Healthcare Corporate Finance – NYC or Chicago

The Sales Analyst for the Healthcare Corporate Finance Group will act as a dedicated resource at the transaction level to assist in tracking/analyzing all aspects of deal related activity.  The Sales Analyst will work with Team Leads and the Marketing & Analytics team to identify market trends/opportunities, track and highlight competitive dynamics, and manage internal information flow as required.

  • Responsible for complete and up-to-date salesforce data, including pipeline accuracy
  • Partner with M&A on Salesforce Effectiveness to drive a true relationship model
  • Work with M&A and sales leadership to drive effective salesforce utilization
  • Maintain “Deals Done Away” and “Auction Tracking” report
  • Manage master Sponsor and Direct Client data base and related information
  • Participate on weekly pipeline calls
  • Work with Marketing for the planning of various marketing events, receptions, etc.  This includes the collection and maintenance of client invite lists
  • Assist in maintenance of the Tombstone database / League Table process
  • Research, identify and track overall sponsor/client activity
  • Assist Team Leads in general information requests
  • Maintain master debt and EV comp databases for various sectors
  • Assist in proposal, PIC (pre investment committee) and pricing model preparation
  • Maintain and update various coverage lists using CapitalIQ and other available resources
  • Assist in the preparation of client transaction marketing material including pitch book development and other marketing initiatives

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask & effective communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Experience working with improvement methodologies
  • Experience with marketing analytics, quantitative analysis and reporting
  • Experience researching market data
  • Experience delivering data quality and reporting solutions within the financial services industry

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Bachelor’s Degree in Business
  • At least 1 year of analytically oriented financial services experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
