Provide sales and marketing customers, with actionable, efficient and timely support, data and information to promote revenue/market share growth and establish and monitor performance and market trends. Primary responsibilities include: project management, sales force automation (SFA), system administration, systems security administration, sales and marketing analytics. Working directly with Sales and Marketing teams, to provide operational solutions/analyses to maximize sales force efficiencies.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
PROJECT MANAGEMENT (45%)
Coordinate with Sales/Marketing teams to translate business requirements into actionable, systems oriented solutions. Work directly with I.S. resources to configure, and administer systems (Salesforce.com, Business Objects, etc.) to better meet the needs of the commercial organization.
SFA SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION (40%)
Manage sales force automation system for all Allergan Medical sales teams including: territory management and alignments, physician to account associations, report and dashboard creation and management, new user training and support. Work closely with Sales leadership and SFA developers to deliver enhancements and to improve efficiency.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (10%)
Establish and maintain cross function relationships with internal departments (IS, HR, Sales Administration, etc.). Keep Commercial leaders to date on the status of issues and analyses, including known problems being worked and perceived risks. Define and assist with the design of sales related training and on-boarding programs. Ad-hoc analysis as required.
SYSTEMS SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (5%)
Control user security to Allergan systems coordinating with Sales Administration team (SFA, Portals). Provide on-going user support for access and data concerns working closely with Information Systems teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Computer Science, or Information Technology, Healthcare or related experience preferred.
3+ years of experience as an Analyst in a Sales or Marketing business environment
Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform experience (Salesforce Certified Admin preferred)
Advanced Excel skills required (e.g. formulas, pivot table, charts)
Strong analytical experience, reporting, documentation, and problem solving skills
Experience with commercial operations and sales performance management
Project management & presentation skills
Proficient in other Microsoft Office Products, Word, Power Point, and Access
Experience working with Business Intelligence applications (Business Objects, SQL, SAS, R, etc.)
