The Midwest Region of Otis Elevator is seeking highly motivated, organized self-starters with technical backgrounds or aptitude who are interested in a sales career. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service existing accounts to ensure retention of business
- Sell Otis products and/or services upgrades
- Develop and expand the sales territory through cold calling and familiarity with local market conditions and competitor dynamics
- Provide technical support to current and prospective customers
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of Otis products
- Monitor and manage the collection of accounts.
This is a salaried position that offers additional incentive compensation, a comprehensive training program and opportunity for growth.
Position will be located in the Midwest, however, candidates should be geographically mobile and location flexible to help ensure a fit can be made between individual preference and business necessity/requirements.
Training location will be in Illinois or Wisconsin. Qualification:
Candidates must have strong organizational, communication, project management, sales and leadership skills.
Successful candidates can interact effectively with customers, team members and Otis management and have the initiate and motivation to be successful in a demanding, technical environment.
- Prior internship with Otis/UTC
- Prior sales/marketing experience
- Expected graduation date of May 2017 Education:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree prior to start date. Emphasis in business/sales or engineering is preferred but not required.
