Cisco's Global Collaboration Partner organization is chartered to create global GTM strategy and develop associated partner programs for Collaboration solutions. Our goal is to effectively utilize Cisco channel partners, as a critical route to market, to maximize positive customer experiences and drive incremental growth.
The Collaboration Partner Business Development team is a high performing team of cross functional global experts, responsible for a broad portfolio of solutions that impact significant revenue. The organization is responsible for driving the engagement strategy for Collaboration technologies across all segments and thus helping accelerate Cisco's ability to capture market transitions.
What You'll Do
Sales Business Development Manager (SBDM) for Collaboration. In this global role, you'll be focused on partner GTM, channel program management, channel enablement, across key routes to market including resellers, service providers, systems integrators, distributors, software developers & SaaS market places.
We seeking a visionary SBDM to join our high-performing team. If you are recognized as a charismatic technology leader who has a consistent track record working on multiple projects in multiple channel roles, then you're just the visionary we're looking for. As SBDM, you'll have ample opportunity to work with partners, customers and alliance vendors to drive the evolution of our Collaboration GTM strategy. A strategy that enables our customers to consume in new ways, while helping our partners establish new relevance and profitability. Help our teams in the Global Partner Organization develop and cultivate our partners in Theater (AMER, APJ, EMEA) into global sales scaling engines. You'll engage with and influence constituents across the globe in programs, pricing, policies, training, enablement, strategy, vision, and execution.

You're a trusted advisor and visionary who works across boundaries in a matrixed environment, bringing people and teams together, inspiring confidence through communication and collaboration. The relationships you build with executives, channels, Business Units and Marketing will be deep and critical to your success. Partners love your inventive nature, which crafts solutions well beyond the scope of traditional IT Channels. Your focus is success, and you know how to build profitable programs that can be measured and metered. You can convey the most complex concepts in the simplest of terms and gain consensus from others in executing your strategy.

At minimum, we require:
• 5-10 years of experience in customer or partner-centric roles within a fast-paced technology environment
• General understanding of Cisco Collaboration Portfolio of products and how they inter-operate
• Familiarity with Cisco Channel, Reseller, and Distribution community
• Leadership or part of a Channel GTM Team
• Understanding of the value of cloud-based offers, applications & new consumption models
• Executive relationships
Field alignment/engagement
Partner & field channels education and sales training,
• Strong written and spoken communications
• BS/BA or MBA in Marketing, Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Coordination of cross functional activities
• Ability to work independently, but part of a team
• Some travel required 20%
