The successful candidate for this position will work with the relevant Sales business teams to understand complex business processes and strategies, define functional solutions for business needs, configure applications and systems into efficient business solutions using the SalesForce Sales Cloud Platform. This role will perform requirements review, functional analysis, system administration and system testing activities. This role will also be responsible providing tier 2 support for end-user issues with the help of the appropriate business and technical teams.
  • Works closely with business and BT stakeholders to understand business strategy and contributes to achievement of business goals within the Sales portfolio of
  • Collaborates closely with product owners, business analysts and other technical staff to ensure requirements completeness and optimal application design
  • Collaborates closely with Sysco's Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of designed solutions with Sysco's overall technology strategy and architecture standards
  • Leads application development activities (daily standups, product demos, code reviews, design reviews, monitoring code quality, etc.)
  • Builds consensus and gains alignment from cross-functional groups within IT and business to ensure success on assigned application initiatives
  • Conducts POCs and brainstorming workshops with business and BT stakeholders to spark innovation and further the use of emerging technologies like Salesforce to achieve Sysco's business goals
  • Assists with the creation of proposals including recommendations, scope, resourcing, budget and timeline details for new initiatives to achieve business goals and fuel innovation for assigned applications
  • Uses Agile and Lean principles to ensure speed-to-market of solutions and maximum business value capture
  • Stays current on new technologies and industry trends, specifically Sales Cloud, and makes recommendations for their adoption based on business goals, investments, benefits and risks
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders, partners and coworkers in both written and verbal formats
  • Provides oversight to production support and deployment/cutover activities within the Sales Cloud portfolio of applications
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with peers in business and technical teams
  • Acts as a coach for developers and technical staff within and outside of immediate team
  • Performs additional duties and supports additional applications as assigned by leadership teamLead product group meetings to review and prioritize feature requests and business requirements
  • Translate business requrements into functional solutions and create functional requirements for each planned release
  • Perform advanced application and platform administration (user administration, config changes, deployment, data and environment setup, reports/dashboard development, workflow, validation rules, etc.)
  • Perform feature tests for releases (internal and salesforce releases)
  • Build and manage great working relationship with peer teams
  • Provide guidance to product teams on Salesforce usability, access management and basic configuration issues
  • Provide guidance to product teams on new Salesforce releases
  • Provides oversight to investigation, analysis of technology risks, issues, and dependencies in assigned programs/projects
  • Bachelor's degree required; or 4 years equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience as a business or functional analyst in a large organization
  • Experience working in large organizations preferred (1000+ employees)
  • 2-4 years of experience administering enterprise Salesforce CRM system
  • Expert understanding of standard Sales/CRM concepts and business processes (prospecting, opportunity/lead management, sales reporting, forecasting, etc.)
  • Sales Cloud experience is strongly preferred
  • SFDC Certified Administrator is preferred
  • Experience with Agile processes is preferred
  • Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time and produce high quality deliverables (accuracy and thoroughness)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings to achieve set objectives
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with other team members (immediate team as well as cross-functional teams)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
  • Self-motivated and ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Project and Process Modeling tools is a plus
