Current Need

 

As part of our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit sales candidates with an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare payer and provider industry, value based reimbursement client business processes and a proven track record of delivering results.

Our focus prospects and clients represent a number of different types of customers involved with the delivery of healthcare. They range from regional integrated health systems to national hospital entities, large Blue Cross plan affiliates and National Health Plans.
 
Travel:  50%




Position Description

Role Definition: 

Responsible for delivering revenue for McKesson’s Value Based Payments core analytics platform offerings. Reporting to the VP of Sales Value Based Payments and visibility with the entire executive staff.
 
Manages multiple accounts based upon geography, industry or a large set of named accounts. Becomes the expert on the solution sale process

  • A result orientated and self starter, enthusiastic, confident and empathetic individual who likes a challenge.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly with McKesson’s analytics portfolio and align the needs of our customers with capabilities of our products. Understands applications of platform and content to client business issues.
  • Able to work effectively across functions, to develop and implement customer-focused strategies and plans to serve a complex customer set.
  • Leverage deep understanding of the portfolio to engage and influence senior executive, end users and key stakeholders across customer segments.
  • Ability to convey complex information and concepts in a clear concise format in 1:1 meetings, presentations (face to face or via web) or in writing.
  • Able to think strategically which will allow you to predict and anticipate future client needs.
  • Develops a deep understanding of competitor products and McKesson’s key differentiators.
  • A high contributing member of a small team who is comfortable exercising initiative in proposing product developments and working on new projects.

Minimum Requirements
8+years new account sales experience

Critical Skills

 

8+ years selling into payers and health systems.  


Additional Knowledge & Skills

In addition, this person must be able to demonstrate exceptional executive presentation and influencing skills, strong creative thinking and problem solving, solid project management and account development skills and extremely deep knowledge of the health and software industry
 
Communication (written and oral) skills must be excellent.


Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
