**Job Description:** In this critical role, you will manage and drive the success of our direct and indirect sales effort for the SLED market within the Public Sector sales team of Virtustream. You'll report to the VP of Public Sector and will be instrumental in developing and executing growth strategies, as well as a comprehensive go-to-market approach, in collaboration with our services, marketing, alliance partners and lead generation teams in order to reach new federal clients for Virtustream enterprise cloud solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need to have: a relentless passion to develop and drive an “industrialized” sales process for cloud IaaS offerings and hybrid cloud solutions; a track record of success and strong understanding of the unique attributes/knowledge for selling in the SLED marketplace; a solid and well-grounded communication style; the skills to work/thrive in a high-growth cloud solutions company; a track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; an ability and proven history of driving individual sales targets; a team-orientation; strong written and oral communication skills; and an ambition to take on increasing levels of responsibility as we continue to succeed and grow. **Primary job responsibilities** + Build and drive a pipeline of new prospects necessary to consistently achieve an annual ACV bookings of > $4M. + Develop a go-to-market plan in concert with our team and business partners. + Deliver on personal sales objectives quarterly for targeted major opportunities. + Execute strategies for generating demand in both direct and indirect sales scenarios. + Lead the team in achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets by instilling strong sales discipline for pipeline creation and velocity to close. + Maintain a close working relationship with other members Virtustream’s team and contribute to the success of our business and company as a whole. + Knowledge of enterprise applications and ERP systems. **EMC Values:** When you choose our company, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
