Pay Rate/Salary: $65000-100000 / YearInitiates and control sales efforts in a pre-determined territory as defined by Director of Sales.
Sales calls for this position will be geared towards major end users (retail, grocery, restaurant, and drug store chains), OEM's (original manufacturers), and other direct sale opportunities in the Southeast US region. Southeast region covers a four state territory to include Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama, with potential for an expansion of territory. This role will require 25-50% travel within the Sale Representative's market.
Under general direction of the Director of Sales, this position will participate in the sales support of company objectives and strategies. This support is accomplished by yearly goal definition of what is to be sold by quota, new accounts, retention of current customers, servicing of accounts, lead follow-up, improving product mix selling, and introduction of new products.
Target selling to specific accounts as assigned.
Sell against yearly performance standards of quota, profit contribution, productivity, sales activities, and sales expenses.
Generate new sales as assigned.
Grow current customer base.
Support company objectives and strategies through assigned selling tasks.
Increase productivity through more qualified sales calls, more professional presentations, higher account penetration, and increased dollar volume.
Assists in assigned sales activities such as surveys, competitive input, trade shows/exhibits, lead follow-up, and call reports.
Maximize the use of field sales expenses, yet control with assigned yearly budget.
Control and maintain current sales records of expense accounts, customer account files, monthly sales activities, and call reporting.
Establishes and maintains customer relationships through courteous and efficient servicing of customer requests.
Maintains positive and proper business relations with customers.
Maintains appropriate level of confidentiality with regard to customer and company matters.
Follows Company policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as required.*

EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE):
Four-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: 2 - 3 years proven sales experience. Background in paper products REQUIRED.
Possesses well developed oral communication skills.
Complete knowledge of selling techniques.
Ability to use telephone, computers and other traditional office equipment.
Ability to accurately compare and verify information.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers and supervisor.
Ability to manage own work flow and meet deadlines.
Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others clearly and concisely; ability to present ideas, facts and some technical information.
Master of basic arithmetic operations.
Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions and when dealing with a wide range of personalities.
Ability to work independently and to self disciplined to stay focused.
