In your role as a Sales Representative, you will be part of our success by:
  • Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans through fact-based selling techniques to achieve sales goals
  • Identifying selling opportunities to grow Kellogg Sales during each store visit
  • Growing base sales and develop new opportunities through maximizing distribution, share of shelf and selling displays at optimal locations within a store
  • Selling incrementally to support ads and brand marketing activity
  • Selling in Kellogg innovation and gaining proper shelf placement
  • Develops and delivers customized presentations regarding Kellogg programs and products, including innovation to store management
  • Developing trusted customer relationships by anticipating customer needs; providing solutions and guidance related to business opportunities
  • Writing customer orders and recording required sales information
  • Managing a defined territory and developing new business opportunities as needed
  • Analyzes and manages a sales budget to promote sales and brand awareness in the territory
  • Develops and delivers customized presentations regarding Kellogg programs and products, including innovation to store management
  • Partnering with merchandising team to provide excellent customer service and store conditions within the territory

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate technology skills such as Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, Cellular use
  • Strong problem solving, influence and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated use of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Sales experience in a CPG environment
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
This position provides participation in one of our Fleet Program options. Ability to drive to multiple locations throughout a regular work day.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending or carrying moderately heavy items (20-25 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodations Extended work schedule which may include some night, weekend and early morning hours.
