The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst is a highly visible role within the largest business line of one the fastest growing brands in consumer internet. The role acts as an advisor to executives in the global sales, product and operations teams, and is responsible for helping crack the most important strategic and operational issues facing the Talent Solutions business.
This position offers a candidate with traditional (consulting / investment banking / finance / corp. strategy) or startup experience an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of a significant portion of LinkedIn's overall business, interact with LinkedIn's most senior sales and cross-functional professionals, and transition into an operating role with one of the fastest growing companies on the web.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to make data-driven decisions on topics, including, but not limited to:
  • Growth strategy for existing customers
  • Global LTS Talent Brand strategy
  • Sales incentive design
  • Forecast modeling
  • Monetization strategies
  • Scaled service plans
  • Product mix analysis
  • Process improvement
  • Systems development
  • Gain management confidence creating insights that are utilized in executive and board level presentations
  • Establish strong working relationships with business operations, global Solutions organization, LTS product marketing, sales management and the systems team to achieve above objectives without management involvement
  • Partner with sales executives on all operational and strategic requests, e.g. team restructuring, quota setting, org changes, etc.
  • Play a vital role in driving our annual strategic planning process through data-driven recommendations in areas such how to restructure teams, and improve productivity
  • Gather requirements and project manage changes to our processes and \ technology that result in improvements in team productivity
Basic Qualifications
  • +1 years in technology / SaaS companies, sales operations, corporate strategy, management consulting, or finance
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • Professional experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, including experience effectively communicating with senior management
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, SQL, and Tableau is a plus
