POSITION PURPOSE

The purpose of the Sale Support Associate role is to work with sales, suppliers, customers and internal resources to gather information and assist in providing solutions that ensure that our customers have the best possible experience with Interline Brands.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
25%- Enter orders for customers assigned to Sales Support which includes, but is not limited to special orders including follow-up, acting as a liaison between sales and other functions such as Deviations, Credit, Bid paperwork, etc.
20%- Provide customer support by providing Proofs of Delivery, handling problem orders, monitoring backorder reports making sure items are ordered by the buyers, finding replacements when an item is discontinued and communicating to the sales professional.
15%- Manage price changes (BCBI)
15%- Provide SDS sheets for customers

15%- Submit inventory increase/decrease requests to support large customer demands.
10%- Other administrative tasks as required.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Regional Sales Manager. Has no direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Proven ability in data entry with excellent accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
