The Sales Support & Effectiveness Specialist is responsible to:
Work with salespersons and Sales Leaders to ensure the integrity of sales funnel and forecast data and compliance with sales process for the assigned businesses.
Partner with Sales Leaders to identify and implement improvements in sales process and enabling tools.
Work with Sales Leaders to facilitate periodic territory reviews and strategic review sessions.
Assist Sales Leaders to onboard new sales execs, including orientation to SFDC and sales methodology.
Collaborate with Sales Operations teammates on periodic and ad hoc reporting of leads, funnel, and forecasting,
Work with Sales Operations teammates and Sales Force leaders to improve functionality in SFDC and related tools to support the sales teams.
Tasks include those necessary to collaborate with the Sales and Sales Operations teams to coordinate sales opportunities from Leads through roll out. Support training, process and technology initiatives as well as other McKesson programs targeted to the Sales teams from inception, often collaborating with project-based cross-functional teams. The Sales Support & Effectiveness Specialist must be able to effectively interact with associates in all functional areas of MCCA. The Sales Support & Effectiveness Specialist develops and executes a systematic approach to help sales representatives across Connected Care and Analytics effectively prepare for and track progress on customer interactions, using standardized tools, methodology and process to advance sales opportunities to close while ensuring achievement of MCCA revenue and profit goals, compliance with corporate contracting policies and procedure, and successful customer engagements. Responsible for metrics tracking for funnel and forecast accuracy, sales tools usability and sales efficiency. Works collaboratively with sales and functional leaders to identify and improve process inefficiencies.
Provide sales support, education and training to multiple sales and account management teams. Support includes user support on Salesforce.com and other critical tools and applications as needed. Continuously monitor funnel and provide updates and feedback on type, age, TCV, stage – 45%
Facilitate and participate in territory reviews, Dashboard maintenance --20%
Develop periodic and ad hoc reporting, data requests and Dashboards for Sales and Sales Ops leaders —20%
Assist with sales tools such as SFDC and sales process training design and delivery –10%
Miscellaneous support as requested from Sales or Sales Ops leaders –5%
Minimum 5 years experience supporting sales, and working across functional lines in a business environment
Specialized Knowledge/Skills –
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficient at executing when experiencing multiple competing priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
Proactive, eager to learn and tackle challenges
The ability to build relationships across the organization and collaborate to accomplish goals
Strong Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with CRM systems, especially reporting; Salesforce.com a strong plus
Six Sigma knowledge a plus
Experience with sales methodologies like Miller Hyman and/or Counterintuitive
