LinkedIn is looking for a process and detail oriented Salesforce.com Developer for our Sales Systems team. In this role, you will be the Salesforce.com technical liaison in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations. You will design and build solutions leveraging the Force.com platform and/or web based technology to satisfy unique business requirements. You will provide technical leadership to business partners and team to achieve goals. Lead code review sessions with fellow team members.
This role provides interesting, varied work that will deliver significant impact on LinkedIn's Global Sales Organization ability to go to market strategy. Successful execution will require effective communication and designing solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Core
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications that enable the development team to write effective code
  • Leverage the Salesforce.com platform and/or web based technology to develop solutions and satisfy unique business requirements
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining accuracy of technical specifications
  • Lead projects through solution design, coding and build
  • Foster a team dynamic with internal customers, project managers and business architect
Leadership
  • Run code reviews for team members to ensure development quality
  • Manage technical resources for assigned projects
  • Ask critical questions to ensure development of optimal solution
  • Communicate how solutions map effectively to original business requirements

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years development experience within Salesforce.com
  • 2 + years experience with Apex and Visualforce development
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science
  • 2 + years experience with object-oriented programming languages
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid grasp on Computer Science fundamentals including algorithms (ie, Big-O), data structures (ie, Array, List, Stack, Hashmap/Hashtable, Tree/Binary Tree) , recursion, and coding
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, JSON
  • Experience with data migration, integration techniques, and tools, (Experience Boomi Integration tool a plus)
  • Experience with Oracle, Doubleclick, Xactly, Cloud9, Eloqua and Teradata
  • Salesforce.com Advanced Developer certification
  • Outstanding project management skills - ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - ability to understand business and technical requirements and "speak the language" of the various stakeholders
