Red Kettle Attendant


Position Summary

The Salvation Army Red Kettle season is fast approaching and we are looking for Kettle Attendants and Musicians for this holiday season!


Manpower is responsible for recruiting Kettle Attendants and Musicians to work at each Salvation Army Kettle site. Starting in mid-October we will begin interviewing
Musicians and Kettle Attendants for the Red Kettle program. Musicians and Kettle Attendants chosen for the program are paid an hourly rate.  Many Musicians have found that this project allows them time to practice for upcoming recitals while also sharing the holiday spirit in playing their favorite holiday tunes.


Position Requirements

Kettle Attendants are needed to ring the bell or play traditional music at the Salvation Army Red Kettle locations around the Miami Valley.


What would I do?

You would be assigned to a Kroger or Walmart store in your location.  You will attend the Red Donation Kettle as shoppers enter and exit the store.


Position Hours
  • Hours for this position are very flexible as we do everything possible to accommodate the busy schedules. 
  • Musicians and Kettle Attendants may choose their preferred location and shifts of either 4 or 8 hours over a period of 17 days during Thanksgiving week and weekends during December.
