Looking for an SAP HYBRIS FUNCTIONAL SYSTEMS ANALYST for a full time - direct hire role in Livingston, NJ. The Hybris Functional Systems Analyst is considered the primary liaison between the business and the technical teams (internal and/or external) involved in developing and maintaining an e-commerce platform. This position will be responsible for the full comprehension of our e-commerce platform's functionality, the set up and configuration options available, designing solutions, overseeing the development, coordinating the testing and providing the promote to production deliverables. The key skill is being able to map the requirements of the business to the capabilities of the system and working out the best way to deal with any gaps while balancing feasibility, practicality and sustainability. Additional responsibilities may include managing resource schedules and overall budget line items during the project delivery lifecycle to maximize business results and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities: Advisory and Business Needs Partnering • With business process owners, you will analyze business operations to understand them and to determine opportunities and risks, to automate or streamline processes and functions, to optimize process synergies, and increase business efficiency • Provide consulting on possible solution evolutions, perform evolution studies, both within and across business units/entities • Develop relationships with the stakeholders by being proactive, displaying a thorough understanding of their business, and providing innovative solutions Application Changes and Project Activities • The main change activities are related to the delivery of solutions for new business stakeholder demands in the form of Requests for Services (RFS), Requests for Change (RFC), and Projects. • With an open, collaborative and proactive manner you will support the responsible teams with their objectives to deliver the defined change scope under the best possible conditions, and within the agreed planning and budget. • Your main tasks will include; o Analysis, feasibility and specifications (Translate high level business requirements into functional and technical specifications to a sufficient level of details in order to formalize and estimate a plan of delivery) o Recommendations and oversight of Configure, Customize and/or Development changes o Assign, coordinate, and manage developers' activities and deliverables o Support all phases of testing o Ensure all deployment requirements have been met and handed over to the Release and Service Delivery Coordinator o Support questions, request for information and problem resolution requests coming from the incident management stream.
