This position will be based out of the Cedar Rapids Plant
  • Identify productivity opportunities and deliver targeted savings by managing a dynamic and diverse project portfolio, spanning the entire QFS Supply Chain landscape:
    • Buy (Value Engineering and Compressible, Inbound Transportation)
    • Make (Mfg., Co-Pack, Integration)
    • Move (Warehouse, Inbound & Outbound Transportation)
  • Work autonomously on simultaneous projects without losing focus or momentum to deliver results within project timeframes
  • Use multiple data / information sources to decipher complex problems and deliver solutions
  • Work with cross functional partners to quantify and validate effects of improvements to processes, work flows, and systems
  • Identify, propose, and implement Standard Work and Global Best Practices


  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience including 2+ years of experience in Food / CPG plant operations (supervisory, process improvement, engineering, or financial role)
  • Knowledge of and practical application of Six Sigma Principles, Lean Manufacturing Methodologies, and/or TPM Systems
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (through accredited governing body) preferred, Kaizen Leader Certification acceptable with expected progression through Green Belt & Black Belt Certifications while in role
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems required. Experience with and/or knowledge of WMS, GPS (Global Power Steering), and/or Tableau are a plus. MS Office proficiency required
  • Demonstrated strength in analytics, project management, team leadership, conflict management, and process / system thinking
  • Must be a results-oriented "change agent" with abilities to synthesize multiple, differing points of view, and effectively execute both big-picture and tactical tasks / activities to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong organizational agility with a proven track record of effective collaboration and communication across all levels of the BU
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills to build and maintain relationships, and ensure alignment to the Business Unit's goals
  • Bachelor Degree required. Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Finance degree preferred
