Security Software Development and Maintenance:
Develop and maintain Security applications and tools, including:
u00b7 Public Key Infrastructure, code-signing and HSM system
u00b7 Keyserver and keystore system
u00b7 Mobile offloader Android app
u00b7 Payment ground system
Operation Support and Issue Analysis:
Support Airlines customers, Network Operation Center, Field Engineering on
Payment, and PCI environment technical issues.
u00b7 Address Security and Payment questions from Airlines customer, internal engineering and management staff.
u00b7 Answer software security requirement, design and architecture questions forwarded by Panasonic staff.
u00b7 Update appropriate documentation.
Security Monitoring and Testing:
Monitor security vulnerability and patches for software deployed on Panasonic IFE systems, and within the PCI ground infrastructure. Test security patches, and track patch deployment to production equipment.
Conduct and assist with internal and external security audits of aircraft and PCI ground systems.
u00b7 Collect auditing tools and perform periodic audits on equipment racks.
u00b7 Document detailed design requirements to Software Engineering and validate those.
u00b7 Assist internal Test department conducting security tests.
u00b7 Coordinate with external auditors to do independent assessments.
u00b7 Distribute results and follow up to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Incident Response, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity:
u00b7 Serve on PAC Security Incident Response team.
u00b7 Serve on PAC Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity team.
Required Experience: u00b7 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
u00b7 Possession of, or ability to obtain, one of the following information security certifications:
o CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional)
o GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or any other applicable GIAC certification
u00b7 5-10 years of progressive experience in computing and security:
o Establishment of software solutions within a multi-faceted organization
o Security assessments and incident response within a dynamic environment
o Auditing and compliance of complex security design and architecture
u00b7 Experience with embedded systems.
u00b7 Experience with application-layer protocols such as SOAP, REST web-services, OAuth, Protocol Buffer.
