Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5 years in Cybersecurity Experience


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Certification(s) Preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified JAVA Developer, Vendor-provided certifications on LDAP and/or IAM solutions


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities w/, and/or a proven record of success w/ the deployment & ongoing management of Identity & Access Management technologies.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities w/, and/or a proven record of success w/ low-level configuration & deployment details of IAM technologies, including at least two of the following:

- Provisioning & Certification tools (Oracle and Sailpoint preferred);

- Active Directory;

- Oracle Directory;

- Access Management tools (Oracle & Siteminder Preferred);

- Database serving as a back end to the IAM platform;

- Application server Configuration;

- Web Server Configuration; and,

- Common networking protocols.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities w/, and/or a proven record of success to identify corrective actions needed to update IAM dataflow within the architecture and/or connected systems.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities w/, and/or a proven record of success with running utility scripts required to bulk load IAM objects (users, entitlements other).

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with ongoing monitoring of typical error and system logs to assist senior team members with the continuous, proactive improvement and problem resolution.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with participation in ongoing review of IAM components in response to increases in scale or scope.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with assisting in deploying components of the Identity Management IAM suite of products (e.g. CA, SUN, IBM, Oracle, SailPoint) and of their design and implementation.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with analysis of typical bundle patch releases and subsequent testing in the client QA environment prior to deployment in production.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with deployment of patches in production and coordination with internal team and client teams that may need to participate and test to ensure that outages are prevented.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with ancillary technology tools used to troubleshoot problems that will occur in an IAM environment (e.g., network scanning, Linux/Unix CLI, LDAP Browsers, etc.).

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with various ticketing tools and experience with documenting process for use by operations staff.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success with the principles of triage support in an Identity and Access Management context.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough operational and limited-technical understanding of Identity Management workflows, data flow within the architecture, user interfaces, account lifecycles and entitlements within enterprise IAM deployments supporting (but not limited to) Active Directory, LDAP directories, Web Access Management platforms, Provisioning/Certification tools, and Privileged Access Management tools.

Demonstrates good communication skills to assisting the senior-level team members in communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats to deliver on client requests, participating in meetings and actions.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success with working with shift teams and management of on-call communications procedures.
