Seeds Process Engineer Co-op (St. Louis)

As a Seeds Process Engineering Co-op at Monsanto Headquarters, you will provide complete process engineering designs for all new projects to support Seeds Supply operations and Seeds Breeding / Technology. The successful candidate will provide support to multiple sites and multiple projects concurrently, sharing ownership for successful project outcomes with standard deliverables defined and documented. Primary responsibilities include front-end definition of process intensive projects, covering functional specifications, process flow, definition of capacity parameters, equipment layouts, process and control descriptions, information in support of environmental permits, building layouts, plot plans, periodic reviews and startup support.

In addition, this role provides ongoing support to plant operations through identification and evaluation of process improvements, leverage areas and ideas, troubleshooting support for process issues, and identification of future projects.

This co-op will take place in the spring or fall of 2018.

Required Skills/Experiences:
  • Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Ag Mechanization
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
