Seeking motivated Senior Accountant Description JOB SUMMARY Shares primary responsibility in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial packages and assists in the year end and semi-annual audit. Responsible for monthly account analysis, investor and department allocations and calculates investor service fees. Responsible for overseeing monthly investor pass through expenses. Mentors and assists Staff Accountant with daily and monthly journal entries POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•Completes the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule. •Analyses revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis and assists with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. •Create and reconciles pass through expense and service fees, including charge off collections and advances, billed to investors on a monthly basis. •Assists with year-end financial audit. This includes preparation of yearend audit schedules and advance analysis. •Distributes and reconciles the daily and monthly SAS and associated advance database. •Manages STS database used to record receivables from attorneys and payments due to USLT. •Reconciles BPO and REO expenses (paid from SLS to SAM, due to agent companies). •Other duties or tasks as assigned by management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Minimum of 3 years of accounting/financial experience Schedules Monday through Friday 8- 5PM.
