**To be considered for this position, please email an updated resume in Word format directly to Jolie Wong at** The Sr. Accountant position reports to the Manager of Finance and Accounting and will be primarily responsible for accounting and transaction processing activities for the bank's corporate headquarters and consolidated financial statements. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assist in preparation of routine financial reporting to the senior leadership of the bank and others, including forecasts and actuals, consolidated financial statements, quarterly reports, and others. -Support the annual audit process through preparation of PBC's, and working closely with the Manager of Finance & Accounting and the EY audit team on audit -Assist in footnote preparation and in issuance of the consolidated financial statements. -Support the month-end production of consolidated financial statements through Host Analytics. -Develop effective reporting in Host Analytics. -Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned. -Process cash transactions and reconcile bank statements. -Assist in maintaining the internal controls at Corporate Home. -Support the treasury function on day-to-day cash management activities, including maintaining the bank's liquidity each day through revolver paydowns and borrowings. -Prepare 4-week cash flow forecasts for Corporate Home. -Assist in the annual Plan preparation for Corporate Home, providing assistance and guidance to department heads.


SENIOR ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS -3-5 years of accounting or finance experience. -Public accounting experience a plus. -Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to research technical accounting guidance. -Experience with preparing financial statements and reconciliations. -Exposure to consolidations preferred. -Proactive, takes initiative to accomplish tasks. -Ability to learn and operate systems such as Lawson, Host, Concur and bank websites. -Ability to work well with others at all levels and be of service to business units. -Ability to balance big picture with strong attention to detail. -Strong communication and collaboration skills.
