Position Summary:The Senior Advisor, Pega Application Development will be responsible to serve as a subject matter expert in developing complex workflows and processes within the Pega development environments to meet project objectives. Must be able to provide technical direction, within the context of a project team, to meet the needs of internal customers in accordance with enterprise/departmental standards. Where appropriate, may have to interact with technical staff at Pega Systems, Inc. and/or other CVS Health IT partners (internal and external to CVS Health) to ensure delivery of short and long-term project/program objectives. Must be capable of acting as a Project Owner (PO), within the CVS Health System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) construct, to be the technical accountable party for Pega activities for which (s)he may be responsible. Must be capable of providing input for and review Pega staffing models and Pega architectural artifacts. Must be able to operate in a dynamic environment that demands an ability to prioritize and decompose projects to meet aggressive timelines. Where appropriate, must be capable of writing custom Pega code to meet the needs of project objectives. Must also be able to be an escalation point for production support staff requiring assistance in troubleshooting Pega issues. Work off hours and 24/7 on call as needed. Required Qualifications:Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or closely related field and 3 years experience with Pega’s development tool (PRPC), including 3 years of experience with Pega version 6.3.
