Position Summary:As a Senior Advisor, Specialty Strategy you will be responsible for supporting and developing tactics and measurement for the overall strategy CVS Specialty. The Senior Advisor of Specialty Strategy is essential to ensuring that many key strategic initiatives or areas are maximized in terms of opportunity and execution. The Senior Advisor of Specialty Strategy position is responsible for development of tactics and measurement strategic initiatives for CVS Specialty. The position will focus significantly on optimizing the performance of the prescriber sales force through alignment of compensation strategy and overall results. The position will also be responsible for development of key strategies around PBM network optimization and customer pricing. Other duties to include development and measurement of other strategies and tactics designed to drive incremental profitability within the Specialty Pharmacy segment.
As part of the Specialty Strategy team, you will be required to demonstrate a high level of expertise and understanding of the underlying mechanics of the Specialty Pharmacy space. The position will encounter a wide range of opportunities and be called on to be able to think critically and creatively to capitalize on opportunities in the dynamic specialty pharmacy segment.
Additional responsibilities of the Senior Advisor of Specialty Strategy include:
- Must be able to travel up to 30%. Travel may require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.
- Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of related healthcare in finance or business strategy roles
* Experience in sales compensation planning strategy
* 3+ years of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or Specialty Pharmacy experience
Preferred Qualifications:* Knowledge of Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) industry
* Knowledge of the specialty pharmacy industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organization, time management and multitasking skills (able to track and manage issues, ensure the right
teams are engaged, facilitate comprehensive and timely issue resolution, conduct root cause analysis, etc.)
Education:Bachelor’s degree required
