Position Summary:
Ensures the delivery of quality IT products. Participates and advises during requirements and design project phases; understands business needs; and ensures that comprehensive testing scenarios are performed. Performs planning, execution, analysis, defect tracking, and coordination of functional and regression testing activities. Develops and improves awareness of project-level and release-leave risks. Serves as a subject matter expert to improve current procedures; acts as an information resource about assigned areas; and provides guidance to team members. Accountable for simultaneous projects of varied complexity. Responsible for delivering assignments within specified time frames, adhering to all established methodologies, standards, and guidelines. Applies defined QA processes to plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate, and report the results of software testing to ensure a quality product. Reviews functional and technical requirements and will identify critical test cases and end-to-end scenarios. Works with application business groups and technical developers to develop test plans and overall test strategies. Validates that business requirements are fulfilled by the technical design and test scenarios. Is conscious of project and release risks. Provides feedback to management once risks are identified. Performs comprehensive testing to prevent introduction of application defects into regression, end-to-end, client, and production environments. Responsible for translating QA, UAT, and business scenarios into regression test cases. Develops a regression test bed to include test data preparation across multiple applications. Monitors regression test preparation and execution tasks. Provides timely feedback on the overall project status. Acts as an overall test lead for test execution, review, and analysis of test results. Reports, monitors, and verifies application project defects as necessary.


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT Security, Information Management, or closely related technical field and 3 years of UI automation testing experience, including 3 years of experience with Health Care Adjudication, Web and MainFrame Automation experience, ALM, UFT, Selenium, RxClaim/AS400, Oracle and DB2 SQL, Med-D Guidelines, PBM Plan and Eligibility layouts, Java, VB, and Excel Macros. If no degree or unrelated degree, will accept 5 years of UI automation testing experience including 3 years of experience with Health Care Adjudication, Web and MainFrame Automation experience, ALM, UFT, Selenium, RxClaim/AS400, Oracle and DB2 SQL, Med-D Guidelines, PBM Plan and Eligibility layouts, Java, VB, and Excel Macros.
