Job DescriptionThis Senior Associate role on the Loss Forecasting team is a highly visible, multifacetedRole requiring a mixture of knowledge and experience in credit risk strategy, presentation writing, business communications, data analysis, research, and credit loss forecasting. This position provides an excellent opportunity to quickly develop an in-depth and big-picture understanding of credit risk management and operations in a sophisticated financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize statistical tools, including SAS, SQL and advanced Excel for analysis and reporting
Leverage business knowledge and communication skills and utilize MS PowerPoint and research capability to prepare presentations by senior management to internal or external audience
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all the components, changes as well as final outputs of entire loss forecasting process.
Assist in the loss forecasting process, forecasting model development, validation, performance monitoring and model implementation
Assist in internal and external audits and/or regulatory exams
Deliver business analytical reports to senior management and/or business partners on a regular basis Communicate and coordinate with various functional areas to gather and verify data and information
Support senior management on ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests.

Required Skills:
Masters degree in economics, statistics, engineering or related quantitative field, or Bachelor degree with equivalent experience.
1 years experience in conducting statistical analysis or building statistical models
High proficiency in SAS, SQL and Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure without compromising quality

Desired Skills
2+ years of experience in credit industry preferably in credit risk domain
Experience in building time series models using macro-economic data
Familiarity with loss forecasting (or capital planning or stress testing)
Effective communication (oral and written), presentation, interpersonal / business partnering, and organizational skills.
Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
