Responsible for providing business operational, financial, analytical, and programmatic support primarily for the Enterprise Field Sales organizations within Dell EMC. Reporting to the organizational Controller, this role is responsible for day to day reporting within the Sales territory as well as helping to provide insights to leadership on the progress of local & corporate initiatives & strategies. This role will be aligned to the Field Business Manager.
The position provides growth opportunities and exposure to Field Sales & Corporate leadership. The role is ideal for candidates with a deep passion for the business who are looking to enhance their strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Daily, weekly Monthly and quarterly forecast, pipeline & sales cycle measurement
+ Monthly forecasting of operating expense and headcount.
+ Creation and maintenance of reporting packages for monthly and quarterly reviews.
+ Working closely with the Corporate Sales Finance and Operations team to understand goals, targets and actual financials across the organizations.
+ Assist in business planning and quota setting for all levels
+ Compilation and review of relevant business metrics tied to local initiatives & corporate objectives.
+ Review and analysis of business drivers, including product performance , account analytics & historical compares
+ Cross functional interaction with Business & Sales Operations in the field and at corporate as well as support to the relevant sales team members.
+ Performs ad-hoc analyses and other B.I duties as required.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong academic credentials
+ 3+ years as senior pricing analyst or senior business/financial analyst
+ Technology industry experience
+ Expert in MS Excel and PowerPoint
+ Skilled in OBIEE, Business Objects and Salesforce.com
+ Tableau, Domo or other data visualization experience is a plus
+ Exercise independent judgment and recommendations in selecting optimum reporting and analysis techniques
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
+ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
