Under supervision of the Director of Consumer & Market Intelligence, provides analytical assistance for all category sales and market information generating insights to drive the business.
Primary Duties:
  • With Category Manager support, conduct line reviews for assigned account(s) including assortment recommendations, segment trend performance and providing strategies and tactics to drive sales
  • Ability to analyze and interpret consumer, industry and sales data into actionable insights
  • Accurately maintain and upload comp price shop files
  • Accurately maintain master data for key account/non-key account customers
  • Create and/or maintain standard operating procedures for all tasks and projects
  • Utilize sales, industry and market research data to maintain and identify business trends
  • Provide support to category management team in line reviews and customer presentations
  • Tie information from multiple data sources to form new insights, thinking above and beyond the "ask"
  • Collect information for monthly marketing deck
  • Perform need based projects/analysis as needed
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for one segment and one Category Management tool
#External Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, market research or related field
  • Delta Bronze certification preferred
  • Category Management Association - Certified Professional Category Analyst certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years analytical experience
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Effective time management
  • Strong prioritization and follow through
  • Think outside the box
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • 5-10% travel
