Position Summary: As a Senior Claims Data Analyst, you will be supporting CVS Caremark, the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) side of CVS. You will be responsible for analyzing prescription claims data. You will use SAS and SQL to pull data at both the client and overall book of business levels with the objectives of monitoring and managing price discount guarantees and understanding trends and impacts. You will query adjudication systems to view and understand client benefit set-ups, produce standard reporting, and preform “what-if” and ad-hoc analyses to support management decisions around client-specific price adjustments. Decision-making is centered around translating contract terms, pricing offers, and ad-hoc and “what-if” criteria into logical and effective programming statements.Required Qualifications:- 1+ year of professional experience
- 1+ year using Excel in a professional or academic setting
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SAS, SQL, and Access strongly preferred
- Experience working in the healthcare or PBM industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment Education:Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Business Overview:
