As a key member of the Project Execution Team, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project scope according to schedule on budget/affordability while meeting Intel's safety, environmental and quality expectations without impact to factory operations. The job role requires interaction with key stakeholders including factory staff, Logic Technology Development, Portland Technology Development, facility owners, central design and site construction.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the project team to define the project scope and design ensuring it is complimentary to the stakeholder needs, that the intent is captured in drawings and specifications, that it is constructible and is integrated with the rest of the design content and meets the affordability goals.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the project team in the construction of the scope by GC/MP Trades, ensuring material selection is per specification, construction is per specification and to quality requirements, is defect free leading to successful commissioning and handover while meeting project milestones and cost targets.
The Senior Project Manager must be experienced in Lean practices and multiple project delivery and execution strategies including bid evaluation and selection process for construction awards. The Senior Project Manager will ensure the project team will measure and track progress in the field as well as manage the budget, forecasts trades resources, resolves resource conflicts, and coordinates trades mobilization. As required, the Senior Project Manager will engage in contract and legal negotiations, incident investigation, safety training, and project risk assessment.
• 10 years of experience in the semi-conductor or high tech industry
• 5 year of design manager or engineering manager level expertise
• Solid resume of large scale projects and program management
• International Building Code knowledge
• Contracts knowledge related to lump sum, guaranteed maximum price, design/build, and equipment installation contracts
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom designs and functionality
