Capital One's Commercial Bank contains an approximately $90B (exposure) loan portfolio that has grown by virtue of a number of acquisitions. Its traditional commercial portfolio has recently expanded substantially into Health Care Lending with the acquisition of GE Capital’s Health Care Finance portfolio. With the expansion of this portfolio and the advent of new regulatory guidelines around Enterprise Value (EV) lending, the Commercial Credit Risk team is looking for a highly qualified candidate to help manage a newly-formed Enterprise Valuation team – responsible for providing consistent valuations of all EV-reliant deals across the organization.
The successful candidate will be someone who can operate effectively in a matrixed environment, serving as an essential communication bridge between credit officers and underwriters. She/he will have extensive finance and valuation experience. She/he will exhibit very strong communication, listening, and influencing skills to achieve this communication as well as a structured and analytical thought process to ensure consistent and proper valuation across the Commercial Portfolio. Strong business judgment, business knowledge, and presentation skills are essential.

-Strong problem solving, organizational skills and attention to details
-Experience in valuation covering the healthcare sector
-At least 5 years of experience in valuation obtained from one of the following areas: Investment Banking, Private Equity, Consulting, or Hedge Fund
-Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a finance concentration
-7 years of commercial and corporate banking experience in valuation
