This is an exciting opportunity in the Cloud service provider industry.

The senior strategic planner position focuses on partnering and influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization. The position requires a high combination of business acumen, customer understanding, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas. The strategic planner runs certain strategic process, visits customers, and influences the organization via these processes. Activities include running component, ingredient, platform or initiative POPs, competitive analysis, market analysis, and participating in multiple strategic task forces.

The job encompasses all of; CSP sector customer strategy & planning of key customer workloads, product/technology requirements, and gaps scoped, planned, justified, and landed into the business unit product development process. A comprehensive customer business model, services offerings, and infrastructure understanding providing insight to SMG and BU management. Drives one-voice data center ingredient coordination across S7-NW-Scale-OxM.

Your value to the field sales teams encompasses; Driving one-voice coordination for product, technology, and solutions needs for efficiency; Creating a worldwide approach to engaging customer for product and technology scoping/planning; and leading the technology scoping side of CSP customer board of advisors
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Cloud Service Provider industry worldwide from technical and technology solutions vantage point.

Has a solid and deep knowledge of Intel's data center technologies and products - cpu, chipset, fabric, IO, memory, storage, systems-level, and software as it relates to cloud service providers.

Demonstrated global leadership skills with virtual organizations, direct staff peers, matrix reports, and senior key business partners to deliver planning and sales results.

Effective in developing and executing on strategies for growing the business and motivating and inspiring geographically disperse teams (partnerships, demand generation, co-selling)

Demonstrated ability to navigate a large corporate environment and collaborate to increase capabilities to provide customer centric solutions to our partners.

Proven technology, business and financial ROI type analysis acumen - understands the market segment, related industries and operational capabilities. Understands Intel's and Customer's business models and organization dynamics.

Has led strategic initiatives or significant projects (i.e. exec office strategic discussions, new business models implementation, etc), again a strong knowledge of DCG's technical solutions and services.

At least 10 years direct global customer experience a plus.
