The purpose of this position is to support the Lifeline compliance reporting area in the Accounting department with an ideal candidate experienced with advanced data analytical skills, including financial business knowledge, extensive experience to create and maintain PL SQL programs, develop complex data migration and perform in depth data analysis to support the Director with the various data deliverables related to the 43+ participating Lifeline states, federal filing preparations, legal investigations/subpoena, and support business processes, compliant with FCC Lifeline guidelines. The information determined will support compliance requirements for report filings with the FCC, USAC, State government offices, audits and legal investigations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks in developing program tools to facilitate the information required; have strong experience in data migration, cleansing, integration, import/export through the use of multiple ETL tools, such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); excellent experience with large databases, writing PL/SQL programs, optimizing queries in Oracle, SQL Server and MS Access, including maintaining tables to effectively analyze customer data, migration of sensitive customer data (PII) from external vendors VMBC and Solix, to provide validated results. The candidate will also analyze business processes, make recommendations for improvement and provide automation as needed. This person will be responsible to analyze adjustment determinations for refunds to USAC, support data analysis and requirements for SafeLink California. The candidate should have the ability to work independently, meet communicate with other business areas, as needed.
