LinkedIn Analytics team leverages LinkedIn's extreme rich datasets to develop and deliver data-driven insights, metrics and tools in order to drive LinkedIn's business growth and monetization efforts. We now need a talented and driven data scientist to accelerate our efforts and be a major part of our data-centric culture.
We're looking for a hands-on professional who is passionate about mining big data, turning data into insights, and making an impact through rigorous analysis, creative storytelling and timely actions. This person will play a significant role on analytics for LinkedIn Learning Solution, and work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and data service team to develop and deliver data-driven models/tools, insights, and ultimately drive the company's monetization efforts. The vision for LinkedIn Learning Solution is to create economic opportunity for the global workforce through transformative learning.

Own end-to-end enterprise sales intelligence. Analyze massive scale structure and unstructured data, develop machine learning models to drive enterprise customer acquisition, engagement, and customer success.
Create and maintain insightful automated dashboards and data visualization to track business metrics and recommend actionable insights. Partner with cross-functional teams cross engineer, product, marketing, and operations to lead or contribute to large scale strategic projects as well as ongoing operational activities.
Effectively communicates complex analytics to sales team and broader audience in writing and oral presentation formats.
2+ years analytics experience, e. . analytics, data science, data engineering, predictive modeling, statistician, in internet or related industries.
Experience in querying again and transforming big data within both traditional database environment and Hadoop HDFS system. (Teradata, MySQL, Pig/Hive) Hands-on experiences with R and/or Python for statistical modeling, clustering, classification, machine learning, and data/text mining.
Experience in a Unix/Linux environment for automating processes with shell scripting or any scripting language such as Python/Perl/Ruby.
Experience with Tableau or other data visualization and dashboarding tools.
Passionate about LinkedIn and data analytics, fast learner and self starter.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience. Comfortable to lead and influence without authority.
Experience with building end-to-end data product, familiar with HTML, CSS.
Experience with Enterprise sales and marketing is a big plus.
