343 is looking for an experienced Senior Designer to drive, support and implement gameplay design in our next exciting Halo campaign.Responsibilities will focus on mission design, combat design, and campaign system design.

This person will work directly with the Campaign Leads and Directors to ensure gameplay experiences and goals are met; as well as collaborate with other designers, writers, engineers and artists to ensure that the player experience as a whole is of the highest quality.

Job Responsibilities:

-Work closely with the Campaign Leads and Directors to ensure the overall vision is being met and exceeded.

-Design and implement industry setting gameplay design for Halo’s next epic campaign.

-Work closely with level and gameplay designers to ensure the overall gameplay experience quality is being met and exceeded.

-Work closely with the art team to ensure gameplay design and the artistic vision merge to create an amazing AAA experience.

-Work closely with engineers in order to request and develop new tools that lend to better workflow and quality experiences.

-Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all development functions to ensure a best-in-industry production process, player experience and team environment.

-Bring a positive, selfless, pro-active and enthusiastic attitude to a healthy working atmosphere.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years working in a game design capacity.

Required Requirements/Skills:

-Shipped games in a AAA environment.

-Ability to articulate smart design ideas and be able to accept and learn from criticism.

-Excellent design sense and presentation.

-A working knowledge of standard industry game engines, design toolsets, scripting languages and production pipelines.

-Ability to create a mission or level from concept and mass out all the way to ship.

-Hands-on experience with LUA scripting
