The cancer community needs a way (and an incentive) to share data without losing IP or credit for discoveries. Our mission is to provide an environment, tools and practices to facilitate collaboration and sharing for members of this global community. We will gather and share data about basic biological and clinical findings including clinical trials, longitudinal patient histories, genomics, proteomics and metabolomics. The broad spectrum nature of our initiative requires the recruiting of highly specialized and difficult to find talent.
Proposes strategies to create better collaboration between functional silos, or doing away with the functional silos altogether and creating cross-functional teams, or some combination of these approaches.

Develop, analyze and maintain tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
